Over the Rhine Chamber of Commerce: Holidays in the Bag Black Friday promotion

We’re well into November, so you’re probably thinking about where to buy all your holiday gifts. Read on to learn about the local business promotions going on in Cincinnati this month:

Main Street Passport

Keep Main Street weird! If you love all the eclectic shops on Main Street in Over-the-Rhine, you’ll want to grab a passport. When you get it filled out, you can enter a raffle to win great Main Street prizes and you’ll get a 10 percent discount at those stores in January and February 2015. The promotion runs through the end of 2014.

BuyCincy

The Greater Cincinnati Independent Business Alliance (CiNBA) has taken the reins of this annual local shopping push. When you shop at one of the 150 participating local businesses, you’ll be entered to win awesome prizes! BuyCincy runs from Friday, Nov. 21, to Saturday, Nov. 23.

Holidays in the Bag

The Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce has organized a local response to Black Friday with its Holidays in the Bag promotion. Buy the official holiday bag for $5 to get great discounts at more than 25 participating OTR businesses on Friday, Nov. 28. Proceeds from the sale of the bags will benefit Future Leaders OTR. See all the discounts here.

Small Business Saturday

If you have an American Express card, you can get up to three $10 statement credits when you make three purchases of $10 or more at small businesses on Saturday, Nov. 29. See a map of participating businesses here. The neighborhood Westwood is having a Small Business Saturday event as well.

The City Flea Small Mall

Shop with all your favorite local businesses in one spot: The City Flea is hosting a Small Mall  in the 21C Museum Hotel and Contemporary Arts Center downtown on Sunday, Nov. 30.

And of course, Small Business Saturday is also the day of our big holiday craft show at Music Hall. We’ll see you there!
