How to Apply

Hey, hey makers! Application for Crafty Supermarket’s 2020 Holiday indie craft show on November 28th are open August 1-September 1! We will let everyone who applied know about their acceptance status by September 15, 2020.

Applications for the Spring edition of Crafty Supermarket will be open January 15-March 1.

As you know, this show will look a little different. Our past holiday shows have drawn more than 5,000+ shoppers at our handmade market with a live DJ, hands-on craft activities, local food and free swag bags for the first 100 shoppers! This year we are still keeping an eye on COVID-19 and will make the safest decision for our makers, shoppers and our city.

There are two paths forward for Crafty Supermarket.

  1. A hybrid in-person and virtual show. This will take place at the Music Hall Ballroom in Cincinnati on Saturday, November 28th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a simultaneous virtual market via Instagram and Facebook highlighting makers from the LIVE event plus makers who opted to stay home.
  2. A completely virtual event on Saturday, November 28th, 2020.

A decision about the in-person show will be made by October 1.

HOW TO APPLY

Please read our Crafter FAQ before you apply. We promise it’s worth the read.

In the online application, you’ll be asked to upload up to five images in JPG, GIF or PNG format. (The images should be at least 400×600 pixels but no bigger than 1 MB in size each.) Please name your files in this format: BusinessName1.jpgBusinessName2.jpg, and so on. (If you need help resizing your images, try a free service such as ShrinkPictures.)

There’s a nonrefundable application fee of $15. (You’ll be guided to pay via PayPal when you complete the application. If you need help, PayPal has tutorials on its website — click on the Send Money tab.) The vendor fee for our show in person is $165 and the virtual experience will be $25 but if you’re accepted, the application fee counts towards the table fee.

When you submit the application, you should receive a confirmation message and a confirmation email from us and be taken to PayPal to pay the application fee. If that doesn’t happen, your application might not have gone through — email us to check on it.

We will stop accepting applications at 11:59 p.m. September 1. We’ll notify all crafter applicants of their acceptance status by September 15. Due to the volume of applications that we receive, we do not accept late applications and we do not give individual feedback on applicants. Thanks for your interest!

If the vendor fee is a barrier to you applying, please don’t let that stop you, send us an email and let’s talk. We want to make this show accessible to all talent!
