Let’s get thawed out! February’s list of things to do in Cincinnati includes a bunch of art shows and some creative business opportunities:

• The Cincinnati Show: This totally local art show at Rock Paper Scissors opened Friday, Jan. 31 in OTR!
• CO.STARTERS: Applications for ArtWorks’ creative business course (formerly known as SpringBoard) are open from Feb. 3 to 21!
• Macy’s Arts Sampler: Get a taste of all the arts Cincinnati has to offer on Saturday, Feb. 8, including art, music and dance at locations all over the city.
• Perfect Pairings: Explore “Threads of Heaven: Silken Legacy of China’s Last Dynasty” with wine pairings at the Taft Museum on Saturday, Feb. 8. {rsvp required}
• Art by the Bite: Celebrate the performing arts with ArtsWave and Enjoy the Arts at Obscura downtown on Thursday, Feb. 13. {rsvp required}
• Best of Cincinnati: Vote for your favorite things in CityBeat’s annual poll by Sunday, Feb. 16. Might we suggest picking Crafty Supermarket as your favorite festival? :)
• Story Telling: The Fine Art of Illustration: Brazee Street Studios is putting on this show of local illustrators and cartoonists, with an opening reception Saturday, Feb. 22.
• 20th Century Cincinnati: Shop the 20th anniversary edition of this vintage show in Sharonville on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22 and 23.
