Up at DAAP Galleries: Indiependent

Indiependent is a show focusing on indie craft at the DAAP Galleries at the University of Cincinnati co-curated by Crafty Supermarket co-organizer Chris Salley Davis and gallery director Aaron Cowan. It explores the intersections of art and craft, and features some artists who will be very familiar to Crafty Supermarket shoppers. Indiependent is up now, runs through Dec. 10 and has an opening reception 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22.

The DAAP Galleries are open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. You can find them on the fifth floor of the DAAP Complex — at the corner of Clifton Avenue and MLK Boulevard on the University of Cincinnati campus.

There’s also a free Indiependent workshop event on Nov. 24. Email the gallery to get more info and RSVP if you wish to attend — spots are limited.
